High Quality 1726-Dated Early Colonial Era Legal Last Will
October 8, 1726-Dated Early Colonial Era, Manuscript Document, Legal Last Will Document for Grace Stevenson, Chester County, Choice Very Fine.
Beautifully written and signed Last Will and Testament of Grave Stevenson, 1 page, measures about 7.5" x 12", on fine laid period paper. Clean and fresh with choice brown text, some light folds. This Document reads, in part:
"In the name of God amen. The eighth day of October anno dom 1726. I Grace Stevenson of Burmingham in County of Chester, widow being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory praised to the almight for the same therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing it is appointed for all once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament."
Signed by "Grace Stevenson" at bottom, along with witnesses "Samuel Scot Junr, John Day and Andrew Haydon."
