"George Ross" Signer of the Declaration of Independence
GEORGE ROSS (1730-1779). American Revolutionary patriot, member of the Continental Congress and Signer of the Declaration of Independence as a representative of Pennsylvania.
"December Term" 1759-Dated French & Indian War Colonial Period, Autograph Document Signed, "Ross," 3 pages, legal folio, measuring 8.5" x 13.25" on period laid paper, Philadelphia County (PA.), Very Fine. This being a court deposition involving the case of John Everly on a "plea of Trespass." Some folds have been conserved with minor paper loss, with separation along the horizontal centerfold. Boldly penned in rich deep brown and easy to read. Impressive.
