Wonderful condition on this May 31, 1859-Dated Advertising Broadside for "The Celebrated New Orleans and Metropolitan Opera Troupe, whose performances have given unbounded satisfaction throughout the whole United States." Measures about 6" x 17.5" with normal age tone and some edge wear, slight separations at folds. Touting "an Entire New Programme," this advertisement features several notable performers: "J.G. Hernandez Shorey, The Best Tamborinist Living, Neddy Green, The Greatest Burlesque Performer now Living, and J.H. Carle, the Celebrated Banjoist, who will use the splendid Silver-mounted Banjo presented him in Buffalo, valued at $100."
