- A rarity in Europe
- Mechanicals redone recently
- No reserve

This unusual car for long was owned for a long time by a Monaco-based collector before our seller bought it in 2014. We do not have information on its past history and cannot confirm the exact date of production. According to an expert report attached to the file, this Durant could be a single example made by the factory for Cliff Durant's racing team, with the help of Harry Miller. This car was designed to run on speedways such as Indianapolis. Fitted with a two-seater bodywork, its race career started in 1930, and the name of Ralph Hepburn is on the side of the car. It is powered by a six-cylinder Continental side valve engine with Miller carburetors, a four-speed gearbox, a 150L fuel tank and ventilated drum brakes with hydraulic control. The body is made of aluminum, on a steel ladder frame. The engine, gearbox, running gear, steering and electricals have been restored by Patrick Coulant (workshop Belle Epoque) and by the mechanic of the current owner, the work totaling some € 30,000. To allow the registration of the car for road use, the owner has fitted mudguards, Edmund & Jones headlights and a spare wheel.
This is a very rare car in Europe that promises a really unique driving experience.
