More About this Item

Description: 1973 Alfa Romeo Montreal

Swiss title
Chassis n°AR1428159

- Ex-Bruce Taylor car
- Mechanically well maintained
- Sound body and new paintwork
- Coming with comprehensive documentation and spare parts

Sold new in Switzerland and registered for the first time in January 1974, this superb Alfa Montreal has been owned by Bruce Taylor, the author of two reference books on the model. This example has been used for numerous illustrations in his books. The current owner bought the car from Taylor in 2010. In 2014, the SPICA pump was serviced by the renowned specialist Sepp Bürgi. In excellent mechanical condition, the car was last serviced in April 2016, when the cam belt was adjusted and five new tyres were fitted during a regular inspection, compulsory in Switzerland. The stylish glossy brown paintwork is new, and the underbody is in perfect condition. The interior is completely original and the seats are protected with period covers, while the carpets match the colour of the bodywork. This superb example, which has covered 90 600 km according to the odometer, comes with the original service book, documentation from Bruce Taylor, 5 reproduction wheels and various secondhand spare parts. This is undoubtedly one of very few excellent examples available today.

Please note that the wheel rims and the doors mentionned in the catalog can be collected directly from the current owner after the sale. The two Bruce Taylor's books are not included in the car's file.
