Please note that in 2016 at the current owner's request the Mercedes-Benz workshop, which had carried on a comprehensive overhaul of the car, replaced the odometer in miles by an odometer in kilometer. This exchange is documented by pictures, invoices and a Mercedes-Benz certificate

Chassis # 1A WDB107046 035,721

- Just 34,800 km from new!!
- In exceptional condition, sold with its manuals and original accessories
- Recently serviced at Mercedes-Benz
- No reserve

This beautiful Mercedes 500 SL, with an automatic transmission, was delivered new in Germany in the second half of 1985. Consequently it is a 1986 model benefitting from the developments and the restyling of the R107 series. In a raspberry shade with a sublime light grey leather interior, it is in an exceptional condition and has a unique history. It was driven for less than two years in Europe before it was serviced at Mercedes and then taken to the United States by its owner where the car was never registered. Still with its German registration, the car covered only short distances for nearly 30 years. Such a past helps to explain the very low mileage of this car, totaling slightly less than 35,000 km. Its excellent storage conditions have contributed to the conservation of its very original state. The new owner entrusted Mercedes-Benz for a mechanical service beginning of 2016. A thorough service was done, including the replacement of all filters and oils, and the bleeding of the fuel tank, evidenced by a stamp in the manual and an invoice. The interior features air-conditioning, cruise control and heated seats. It is of course equipped with its hard-top, its hood which seems to have almost never been used, and its Becker "Grand Prix" radio. All log books, user manuals and standard equipment such as the toolkit and the spare wheel, are coming with the car. This low mileage car, in such an incredible state of origin, is indeed unique on the marketplace.
