More About this Item

Description: 1991 Porsche 964 RS

- In very good condition
- "Matching numbers", careful maintenance evidenced by its service book
- Elegant and rare colour

With the 964 series, Porsche reconnected with the RS badging, taking up the appellation of the two letters proudly worn by the legendary 2,7 L. The car on offer is a beautiful "RS" in its original configuration, combining a navy blue livery ("midnight blue metallic") with an interior in black and grey two-tone leather. It is equipped with air-conditioning and the RS side strips, at that time reserved for cars delivered by Sonauto in France.
Our example, delivered new in Germany on October 11, 1991, has had only five owners since new as per the service logbook. Its current French owner has owned the car since 2008. The car is in beautiful cosmetic and mechanical condition and seems to have received very good care throughout its life. The car had a respray about ten years ago and looks beautiful in this colour, one of the eight proposed by the factory at the time. Its service book attests to regular maintenance in the Porsche network, and confirms the mileage. Recent work includes the engine refurbishment by Etablissements Boutineau in 2011 for almost € 19,000, and two services in 2014 and 2015 at Porsche St Germain en Laye. Other work was executed by AMS, in Carrieres-sur-Seine. An expertise from May 2016 by Arnaud Séné confirms the overall quality of the car and the apparent good condition of the chassis, as wel
