More About this Item

Description: 1994 Rover Mini Cabriolet Usine No reserve Carte grise française Châssis n° SAXXNNBYNBD092293 Moteur n° 12A2EF77 293572 - Très rare cabriolet usine - Faible kilométrage (19600 km) - Look " Cooper S " - Sans réserve La Mini fut produite de 1959 à 2000. French registration Chassis # SAXXNNBYNBD092293 Engine number 12A2EF77 293,572 - A very rare factory-made convertible - Low mileage (19,600 km) - "Cooper S" look - No reserve The Mini was produced from 1959 to 2000. Two dealers of the brand became famous producing the convertible version of the Mini. The garage Arc de Triomphe in Paris made the cutest version, very neat and chic. A German Rover dealer Lamm, since 1988 made 175 convertibles, but these were less elegant than the ones produced in Paris because they were fitted with covering bumpers and underbody and strengthened body. In 1994, after the acquisition of the brand by BMW, it was decided that a limited run would be produced by the factory, to rejuvenate the brand and the German design version was retained. This model is therefore a true factory convertible, sold new in France, but cleared of the unsightly extensions and dressed according to the French taste, shod with last series 13-inch Cooper S rims, with Yokohama tyres. This car is equipped with a 1300cc injection engine which has only covered 19,600 km. The interior is beige leather and the black soft top, made in Caribex, replaces the original grey one. A Pioneer CD radio and a battery switch have been added. The Cabriolet is a rarity and it will delight its occupants in urban traffic or drives along the coast.
