Description: 1- Antique Large Brownfield & Sons Bowl in the Alaska Pattern, Aesthetic Movement Transferware. Glazed earthenware with transfer printed polychrome decoration. Bears the hallmark used from 1871-1891. Brownfield & Sons were potters in Cobridge, North Staffordshire from about 1837 to the 1890s. Measures 10.50x10.50x1.75". 2- Antique Gildea & Walker Aesthetic Movement Transferware Plate in the Melbourne Pattern. With the hallmark only used from 1881 to 1885. Measures 10x10x1". Small nick to rim. Wt on all is 3 pds. PROVENANCE: The Estate of a Litchfield Connecticut Antique & Art Dealer.
