New Mexico, ca. mid 20th century CE, but wooden cross and base earlier. Wooden base with cross assembled with only pegs and dowels covered with green pigment to which Christ has been attached. Christ is done in painted plaster over wood with glass eyes, 3-piece silver-tone crown inserted into his head, and nailed to the cross. Size: 11" W x 22.75" H (27.9 cm x 57.8 cm)
