An antique paper label is attached to the top of the spine covers. The rear hinge of the first volume is cracked, and the text blocks of both volumes display cracks, with no loose pages. The antique bookplate of The Wadsworth Library of Geneseo, New York, is affixed to the front pastedown; library attachments are visible on the rear endpaper. The name of the library appears in ink on the front flyleaf. The title pages are blind stamped, and a number, also in ink, can be seen in the upper right of the same.
