Description: 1- Two Matching 20th c. Hartley Greens Leed Pottery Mocha Ware Seaweed Bowls. Each 6x6x3". In excellent condition. 2- Two matching 20th c. Chinese Blue Canton Style Plates, both signed, each measuring 10x10" Weight on all 4 pds 4 oz. PROVENANCE: The Private Estate of a Atlanta, Georgia Antiques Dealer. Leeds Pottery was originally founded in Hunslet, a village outside Leeds in around 1756. In it's early years it was owned by members of two families, both called Green, who were joined by a businessman named William Hartley, giving it the name under which it became famous - Hartley Greens & Co.
