Description: $5.00 Gold 1872-S PCGS Genuine-Good Details-Graffiti. The obverse definition is actually more akin to a VG, and the reverse that of an AG+. The graffiti consists of a letter "T" scratched into the obverse field adjacent to Liberty's nose, as well as five small "L" counterstamps (three on the obverse and two on the reverse). The counterstamps are quite curious, and the date quite scarce. Only 36,400 such pieces were struck and the survival rate is very small. Est. $425.
