Description: Iron helmet bowl formed of 62 flat suji plates. The plates studded with rows of pointed hoshi (rivets) which decrease in size towards the tehen. Russet iron surface with traces of black lacquer. Three-stage nigurome tehen kanamono. Uninscribed. Replaced fukigaeshi lacquered red. Unassociated mabezashi. Replaced five-lame hineno shikoro of iron in kizuke kozane with black and gold lacquered lames, dark blue kebiki lacing. Helmet band missing. Width 34 cm. Height 25 cm.
