Elegant, lobed border; painted in blue underglaze, on a white ground; depicting a stylized, small dragon at the inside; decorated with blue, floral motifs at the back; featuring underglaze, blue, four-character mark Da Ming Nian Zao at the base, inside a double circle. Featuring two, star-shaped headlines at the base and tiny chips at the border; some firing defects at the back. The Da Ming Nian Zao mark means "Made during the Great Ming Dynasty".
An almost-identical dish belongs to the Topkapi Museum Collection in Istanbul; obj. number TKS 15/3669.
