Description: Blade shinogi zukuri, chu kissaki, torii zori. Suguha hamon. Chirimen hada, boshi ko maru with deep kaeri. Kesho polish. Nakago ubu with one mekugi ana. Kesho yasurime, inscribed "Kurume No Ju Kiyotsune" (KIY 600, 15 P.). Gilt copper habaki with nekogaki. Black lacquer saya. Gilt fuchi with symbols of good fortune, horn kashira, red silk cord wrap over same, a pair of gilt crane menuki. Plain nademarugata nigurome tsuba. Gilt kozuka, with a landing crane on tushime ground, on the blade kanji for longevity. Mounting from the late Edo period. The mekugi connects the blade with the hilt. According to the collector's notes the tachi was a gift from Daimyo Kurume-Nakazu Kasa No Dayo to his son. Length k/m 31.9 cm, total length 50 cm.
