Description: Well constructed and finely detailed radio-controlled flying scale model of this late World War One biplane fighter aircraft. The fuselage with aluminium-covered flat sides and under surface, with rounded top, the cantilever wings with no interplane bracing or struts, with twin synchronised Spandau machine guns, radiator and engine installation, the 53.5 cm diam’ two-blade wood propeller driven by a twin overhead cam’ petrol engine concealed within the cowling, the lower fuselage with egg-shaped jettisonable fuel tank, the mainplanes and fuselage painted with markings of the period, fully working ailerons, rudder and elevators. Cockpit detail includes control column, seat harness, some instrumentation, rudder pedals and other fittings, on strut-braced undercarriage, the rubber-tyred wheels with spoke discs, the rear fuselage with tail skid, 174 cm wingspan.
