Description: Heavy helmet bowl formed of four iron plates with bullet strike mark. The vivid external lacquer work imitating the appearance of a 62-plate kabuto. Five-stage tehen kanamono, the plates at the forehead and the mabezashi with later gold-plating. Original lining. Height 19 cm, width 20.5 cm.
