Description: Double-edged blade of diamond section with double-struck geometrical mark on each side of the base. Helically cut, iron quillons with widened, blossom-shaped finials. Original, leather-covered wooden grip with iron pommel spirally cut en suite. Sword original in all parts, leather cover on the grip somewhat cracked. Length 118.5 cm. Collection Robert Jean Charles, auction Ader Tajan, Paris, Hotel Drouot, 8/9 Dec. 1993, lot 493.
