Description: Octagonal barrel with six-groove rifled bore in 13 mm calibre, dovetailed brass front sight and iron folding rear sight. At the breech round mark "I M" underneath a star (similar to Stöckel no. 3465). Chiselled wheellock with double set trigger and openwork wheel cover. At the forestock geometrically carved, dark walnut full stock with engraved and blackened bone inlays. Cheek piece with depiction of a couple clad in contemporary costume, a standing Venus on the underside in front of the lock. The upper side with owner's monogram "DDC". Original wooden ramrod with bone tip and threaded iron sleeve. Bone strip on the cheek rest replaced. Length 97 cm. Hermann Historica, auction 14, 1986, lot 551.
