Description: 5-inch champlevé silvered dial with arcaded minutes and signed Leonhard Weis, Marek B????, later stamp defaced WK ARKWI, central alarm disc, the movement with fusee and chain to the going train and verge escapement with plain steel balance, foliate pierced standing barrels to the strike, quarter and alarm trains all acting on a large inverted bell, the backplate engraved with foliate scrolls and applied with finely pierced and engraved balance cock and regulator, defaced signature, the moulded case with scroll corner mounts and turned feet
Dial is probably later, hands replaced but otherwise in good condition. Movement is complete but needs a clean and overhaul to adjust the striking, repeat button lacking. Case retains much of the original gilding, old scuffs, minor dents and marks throughout, one foot replaced, one foot lacking. No winder.
