Description: the gold-inlaid steel hilt in the form of a ram's head with typical markings to face, inset eyes, and detailed floral motifs on grip, quillons and knuckle-guard, the curved steel blade with flat edge, wood scabbard with silk and silver-thread floral design, old collection label near upper edge
In good overall condition, the hilt with minor oxidisation to steel background, gold strong, stones in eyes probably later replacements, the steel blade clean generally, the scabbard worn with some stains and associated discoloration to silk lining, some replacements and consolidation, as viewed.
