Description: Blade shinogi zukuri, chu kissaki, torii zori. Choji gunome midare hamon. Even ko nuka hada, midare komi boshi with deep kaeri. Old kesho polish with small corrosion spots. Nakago o suriage, two mekugi ana, kiri yasurime, uninscribed. Gilt niju copper habaki. Mounting from the late Edo period. Marugata iron tsuba three-dimensionally carved, depicting a horizontal scroll with a bamboo branch. Fuchi of heavily rubbed nigurome with Ezo cherry blossoms, kashira of shibuichi with goose of shakudo in front of a silver crescent moon. Tsuka fitted with same and blue silk cord wrap, mounted with different, part-gilt nigurome menuki. Black lacquer saya with horn fittings. Length k/m 62.7 cm. Total length 101 cm.
