Description: A late 18th Century Dutch polychrome decorated wall clock with gold painted metal cresting, vacant cartouche flanked by rampant lions and scrolling leafy frame, the rectangular dial painted to the top with figures and initialled EB/FR, the chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, flanked by a pair of fret cut stylised lions rampant, gilt painted gadrooned and foliate pieced frieze on ebonised compressed bun feet and scroll carved bracket the back plate pierced and fret cut, chain driven 30 hour movement, 70cm high, Circa 1780 (faults and alterations)
