Description: A late 19th / early 20th Century coin-in-the-slot barrel organ, contained within an ornate stained mahogany architectural case, inlaid with engraved bevelled mirror panels, the recessed front with circular print of a gypsy girl within arched bevelled mirror panel, engraved with flutes and stars, further rectangular panels beneath within fluted frames, scrolling forelegs, side coin slot inscribed '25 CMES', two crank wind handles, two circular brass plates, one inscribed 0 - 9, iron frame with wooden sound board and 115cm wide drum, fitted steel pegs, the cast metal frame inscribed Romano Laeken, 233cm high, 137cm wide, 66cm deep max.
