Description: A painted pottery figure of a lady, Tang dynasty
standing, her body slightly swaying with her hands held out in front, wearing a long flowing robe falling in heavy folds to the base, the fully rounded face with hair drawn up into an elaborate coiffure with a fan-shaped top knot, traces of coloured pigments
52 cm high

OTHER NOTES
Funerary figures of full-figured ladies with elaborate coiffures and wearing loose robes demonstrated the ideals of beauty during the Tang period
