Description: A pair of Barry Mahy New York Cosmos No.2 playing shorts from the 1973 NASL season, a gold & green trimmed pair of shorts Barry Mahy was born in Doncaster, England, 21st January 1942. He started his career at Scunthorpe United and followed manager Freddie Goodwin when he was appointed head coach at New York Generals in the NPSL and played there until the club folded in 1971. At that point the defender joined the New York Cosmos and played five seasons for the team winning a Championship Ring in 1972. Provenance: The Charles Martinelli Collection. Former Equipment Manager of the New York Cosmos.
