Description: A pair of Egyptian scarabs. Lot includes an Egyptian blue paste scarab, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, with hieroglyphic characters on the base. H: 1/2 in (1.4cm), W: 2/5 in (1cm). Holed lengthwise for suspension. The second is a green faience Late Period scarab, c. 664 - 332 BC, the body nicely modelled with neatly molded characters on base. L: 1/2 in (1.3cm), W: 2/5 in (1cm).
