Description: A pair of William IV mahogany framed library chairs in Gillow's style, the top rails carved with acanthus leafage to the shaped ears, panelled frames, stuffed over buttoned green leather backs, arms and seats, the arm terminals with turned roundels above fluted and stop fluted pillars headed by leafy capitals, the bowed aprons reel carved, the legs with fluted rectangular panels above turned tapered fluted legs, the brass sockets and castors stamped DS & P Patent beneath a crown, 103cm high, 70cm wide max., seat 58cm deep, 51cm wide, Circa 1835
