Description: Cal. 9 mm Parabellum, no. 1534v. Matching numbers, some parts without number. Almost bright bore. Proof mark double crown/U. Unmarked chamber, front toggle link with Mauser banner (8 lines). Complete, original bluing with holster mark on trigger plate, minimally thinner on grip. Small and operational parts completely strawed. Dark walnut grip panels. Nickel-plated sheet metal magazine with aluminium base marked "Germany". These first "Mauser Banners" from 1935 within number range 1518v - 1596v are rare, merely 15 weapons are known. Almost in as new condition. Cf. Hallock/van de Kant, The Mauser Parabellum 1930 - 1946, p. 312f. where the above weapon is extensively illustrated and described. Erlaubnispflichtig The Luger Collection Joop van de Kant.
