Description: Cal. 9 mm Parabellum, no. 7428u. Matching numbers including firing pin. Bright bore. Proof mark crown/N. Schiwy safety. Walther safety was never installed. No slot for detachable stock on orders of French occupants in Hesse. Unmarked chamber, front toggle link with DWM logo. At front of grip and on right side of fork police inventory mark "H.P. 495". (Hessian police, weapon 495). Complete, original brushed bluing, lightly thinner on grip. Small and operational parts strawed. Dark walnut grip panels, no number. At front left on magazine catch small blemish. Matching-numbered, nickel-plated, spotted sheet metal magazine with wooden base (lightly damaged on left), marked "7428 / 2". Almost as new condition. Complete with lightly worn, dark brown, modified cowhide holster, maker "Akah", inside flap marked "H.P.". Stitches and pull strap in good order. Cf. D.
