Klyun Ivan Vasilievich (1873 - 1943) was a famous artist of Russian Avant-garde. He was born in Kiev. Studied in Warsaw and Kiev in 1890s; at studio schools of F. I. Rerberg, I.I. Mashkov and Bolshakov. Member of Moscow Salon 1910-1916; SUPREMUS 1916; Moscow InKhuk from 1920; Academy of Artistic Sciences; OSt from 1925. He was the follower of K. Malevich.
