Description: Iron saiga hineno kabuto formed of five plates, the heavy plates connected by massive hoshi, the mabezashi with stylised eyebrows and forehead wrinkles in uchidashi. Four-lame hineno shikoro of smooth iron rows in sugake lacing of sakura leather and large fukigaeshi. Nara mempo of iron, surface improperly reworked, with four-lame hon kozane yodare kake with sakuragawa kebiki lacing. Ni mai tachido of real leather kozane in sabinuri lacquer and also in sakuragawa kebiki lacing, gilt fukurin and mounts in the form of the maru ni chigaigashiwa mon of the Kano clan. Nine attached, five-lame kusazuri, lacquered black. Black lacquered oda kote on blue silk brocade, large hyotan gane and hammered iron mounts with floral decoration on the tekko. Seven-lame sode. Kusari haidate of ikada and uchidashi plates with shishi decoration. Black lacquered shino-suneate with kusari. Brocade worn and with signs of age, partially small repairs and replacements, fastening loops and toggles partially missing. Also an iron mounted gusokubetsu.
