Description: A TRANSLUCENT GLASS JUG 6th-7th century CE. Mold-blown with square body cylindrical neck, funnel-shaped rim and a high handle. The four sides are decorated as follows: Stylized palm or Menorah, Chalice in a shrine, Palm with circle at top, Ladder pattern. In very good condition. 12.8 cm high. Ex Gershon Bineth collection, Jerusalem (prior 1973). For a jug from the same mold, see Newby 2008 (Moussaieff coll.) p. 302.
