Description: A very rare Calgary 1988 Winter Olympic Games bearer's torch, maplewood handle with pictograms of 10 Olympic winter sports, steel torch bowl, 60cm., in excellent condition The flame was flown from Athens, Greece to St. John, Newfoundland. In 88 days, it was carried about 18,000km across Canada by 6,520 torchbearers sharing torches, about 150 were believed to have been made.
