Description: Blade shinogi zukuri, chu kissaki, torii zori. Sugu notare hamon. Itame hada, boshi slightly overpolished. Blade somewhat scratched in places and with signs of corrosion and battle use. Nakago ubu, one mekugi ana, kiri yasurime, inscribed "Yamashiro Daijo Fujiwara Kunitsugu" (KUN 1461, 15 points), grooved gilt copper habaki. Ishime black lacquer saya, mounts en suite of plainly filed iron, one half with gold plating. Marugata iron tsuba with bamboo and chidori design in gilt takabori. Tsuka fitted with same and mounted with a pair of part-gilt hare menuki, beige silk cord wrap. Kozuka with part-gilt shishi. Mounting from the late Edo period. Length k/m 53.5 cm, total length 68 cm.
