Description: Blade shinogi zukuri, chu kissaki, torii zori. Suguha hamon, Ko maru boshi with middle kaeri. Itame masame hada. Old kesho polish. Small scratches from a cutting test, rust spot on the mune. Horimono on both sides, a motto in Sosho script "When the blade is forged, she better not be used, she shall be a clear reflection of knightly virtue", in Kanji inscribed "Sho sammi Arikoto Tsukuro Ei", (ARI 26, 20 P.). Nakago ubu with one mekugi ana, kiri yasurime. Gilt copper habaki. Length K/M 45.4 cm, total length 64 cm.
