Musical mechanism by Reuge S.A. – Swiss company for the production if musical boxes and -mechanisms based in Sainte-Croix
Music box verso with plaque with company’s signet ‘© FM 80’, number ‘1435/1500’ and inscribed ‘The Jeweled Music Box by Igor Carl Fabergé’
Brooch with company’s signet as well as with Fabergé hallmark and fineness
Hexagonal pavilion structure on six curved volute-feet
Lower and upper parts made of biscuit porcelain with delicate gold highlights
Middle section consisting of six pavilion openings in the form of horseshoe arches
In the center a turning ballerina with diamond crown
As addition brooch after Fabergé in the shape of a blossom made of 14K yellow gold and set with diamonds and sapphire as well as painted with enamel, can be places upon the pavilion’s roof
Enclosed within a cardboard box, brooch within a textile pouch
