Portrait of The Prince of Wales. Unsigned. Wrongly identified and titled on frame plaque as by William Beechey. Middle stretcher bar with black stamp for "R.C. Vose Paintings Boston". Upper stretcher bar with remnant of a handwritten label inscribed "... the collection of the Rev. J. Saward Nottingham".
Provenance: Private Collection, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Patched from reverse. Inpaint repair scattered throughout.
