Description: ALBRECHT DÜRER
The Bath House.

Woodcut, circa 1498. 388x284 mm; 15 3/8x11 1/4 inches, thread margins. A very good, dark, well-inked and evenly-printed printed Meder d impression with strong contrasts and little to no sign of wear. Augsburg chalice watermark (Meder 180, which he dates to the mid-1500s). Bartsch 128; Meder 266.
