Description: An attractive Chinese silk Damask Manchu Lady's robe, 19th century, late Qing period, possibly worn by a member of the Imperial Court, the pale turquoise silk is woven with flowering sprigs and decorated with bands of butterflies symbols of happiness, additional pink ribbons decorate the borders and wide ivory silk embroidered bands border the sleeves, the inside area around neck with two black painted Suzhou numerals (believed to be a numbering system for storage in the court wardrobes) , approximately 133cm high x 184cm wide arm to arm -1?? ????????
