Description: Iron, pointed helmet bowl formed of eight plates and lacquered black. Lacquer damages at the peak and near the tehen kanamono. Four-stage gilt tehen kanamono. The interior inscribed in red lacquer "O Hashi Yamashiro No Kami, Taira No Sadakatsu Ason, Ohashi No Moridera, Kyo Odayu, Taira Sadakatsu, Kattyu Yamato". Five-lame hineno shikoro of iron, lacquered black, with blue sugake lacing. Small fukigaeshi, anzu ichi mon in gold lacquer. Original helmet lining. Red oni horn maidate, the tips damaged. Height 27 cm, width 36 cm.
