Description: Cal. 7.63 mm, no. 911. Matching numbers, contract no. 31. Barrel slightly matt, length 400 mm. Ten shots. Proof mark double crown/U and small, later British proof mark underneath the forearm. Tangent rear sight scaled 50 - 500. Barrel root with three-line signature "Waffenfabrik / Mauser / Oberndorf a/N", the frame with two-line signature "Waffenfabrik Mauser / Oberndorf a. Neckar" on the right. Complete, original (?) bluing minimally stained in parts, slight holster marks and signs of wear. Small ring hammer with housing pickled grey. Small parts mostly blued. Matching numbered walnut forestock with sling swivel, matching numbered, detachable butt stock with sling swivel. Horn butt cap with fine chequering and logo, minimal flaw on the side near the upper screw. Excellent to almost mint condition. Comes with the used, dark brown carry bag with two sections, closing strap with thorn buckle, two loops to attach a shoulder strap. The reddish stitching intact. When the serial number 910 was reached, the small ring hammer replaced the large ring hammer, and the short extractor was used instead of the long one. Total production of all variants 1,100 pieces.
