Original green pictorial wrappers (small green paint marks to upper wrapper and light chipping, one corner creased). Provenance: "Aileen. Love Raymond & Joe Christmas,1959". RARE, with very few sale records. [With]: accompanying presentation case in green cloth. With a quarto manuscript play by Aileen Street entitled "The Windy Staircase" written in 1938 and bound in boards. Little is known about Aileen Street, who was the owner of the first mentioned book; however, there is a recorded example of her work as a talented amateur artist in an album of original watercolours entitled "Chinese Whimsy" which she executed in 1935. (2)
