Description: Chinese huangtong brass scabbard ceremonial saber, Qianlong mark. The elongated 'S'-shaped brass scabbard, delicately carved with archaic patterns, and embellished with an intricate sword-guard separating the slender blade, cast in relief with dragons motif. Having steel blade marked near the hilt, one side with the four seal script -ZhuanShu- characters enclosed within cartouche, QianLong Reign Period. Other side with four script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within double rectangular frame. The blade indented on each side with double long grooves, tapering to the gently upturned tip.
