14 kt., the rectangular black enamel case bordered by green guilloche enamel, centering a chesnut-shaped carved jade, edged in small rose-cut diamonds, with a black enamel thumbpiece, opening to reveal a powder compartment with a mirror and mesh screen and cigarette compartment, the carrying chain composed of gold and black enamel oblong links, completed by a rock crystal ring with two diamond-set stations, signed Black, Starr & Frost, circa 1925, inside cover with personal engraving, minor enamel loss, approximately 142 dwts. gross. 3 x 2 1/4 x 13/16 inches.

Condition Report: Scattering of scratches on cover of black enamel above plaque, visible to the eye. On reverse, abrasion patch and several scratches, visible to eye.

Jade: deep apple green with some black patches.

Green guilloche enamel in good condition. Minor black enamel loss on chain.
Interior compartment cover engraved "Mrs. G.B. St. George, Tuxdeo N.Y."

Good condition. Normal wear. Minor scratches to gold interior.
Length of chain 4 inches, 2 inches on each side.
