Description: FIRST EDITION, 4to (237 x 178mm.), engraved portrait frontispiece, folding map, head-piece vignettes, and 3 plates, contemporary mottled calf, central arms of Louis-François-Armand de Vignerot du Plessis, duc de Richelieu et de Fronsac in gilt, name added in gilt above (see provenance), surrounded by triple gilt fillet borders, spine gilt in six compartments
