Description: Baird Clock Co., Plattsburg, NY, 8 day, spring brass movement advertising wall timepiece. This timepiece advertises the English firm "Walkden's Inks" which was established in 1735. Walkden was the oldest existing company that commissioned Baird clocks.

Condition Report: This is a rare model in excellent condition. Original paper dial in nice condition with only a small abraded area just below the winding arbor. Original hands and pendulum. Baird signed movement manufactured for him by the Seth Thomas Clock Company, the major supplier of Baird movements. The bottom board on the case behind the doors appears replaced.
