Attractive and colourful border with coat-of-arms and mining tools. The company was founded in 1895. La Houve is a coalmine located near Creutzwald (Moselle). It consists of 8 different shafts on 5 locations. Production stopped in 2004 and marked the end of coalmining in France. At the time of issue, the area was part of Germany.
