Description: BISQUE CHERUBS FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMPS, LOT OF TWO, comprising an example with pink ball-form font held by three blue and pink decorated cherubs on a tan triangular-form base, blue ball-form swirl-optic shade, and an example with egg-form font in a burlap bag being moved by two cherubs, wicker and fabric shade. Fitted with period burners and colorless chimneys, later shade ring.

Condition Report: Ball-form example undamaged, shade with several minute nicks to rims, other with one replaced wing.

Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA. Egg-form ex-collection of Ruth E. Smith.

Dimensions: 4" and 4 1/2" H to top of collars.

Exhibited: Published: Egg-form in Smith - Miniature Lamps II, p. 175, fig. 341. Ball-form parallels Hulsebus I - Miniature Victorian Lamps, p. 91, fig. 245.

Medium: Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century.
